Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH with it’s websites www.atz-magazine.com, www.mtz-magazine.com, www.atzelectronics-magazine.com is committed to making our website as accessible as possible to everyone, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. We’re constantly working towards improving the accessibility of our website to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2

Wherever possible, the www.atz-magazine.com, www.mtz-magazine.com, www.atzelectronics-magazine.com sites will adhere to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). These guidelines outline four main principles that state that sites should be:

• • Perceivable – Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive
• • Operable – User interface components and navigation must be operable
• • Understandable – Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable
• • Robust – Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies

Conformity status

The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-evaluation carried out on 16.06.2025. Due to the current ongoing redesign and review, the website is partially compatible with the previously mentioned accessibility requirements. Areas that are not fully accessible yet:

• • Some contact forms do not provide accessible error messages – screen reader users may not be informed when a required field is missing or incorrectly filled out
• • Custom browser settings are only partially supported – in some forms, user-defined font sizes are not correctly applied.
• The skiplink isn’t working as expected – (9.2.4.1) 
• ‘Select how many users you want to request for’ field doesn’t have an explicit label – (9.3.3.2)
• The focus indicator is not always easily visible against different colour elements failing SC: 1.4.1 Non-text content AA – (9.2.4.7)
• Insufficient contrast in the Terms and conditions of the supplier and privacy policy links – (9.1.4.3)
